Meet the Course Superintendent
Rob Ritchey

The longest tenured employee, Superintendent Rob Ritchey was on the job even before the first spade of dirt was turned during construction.

Rob has been the club's only Superintendent, since the club opened in June 1998.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Rob is among the most credentialed course superintendents in Missouri. His knowledge of agronomic advancements and how they apply to Missouri's unique weather conditions puts Persimmon Woods in an enviable position in St. Louis golf.

Ritchey and his staff manage one of the region's most pristine and challenging layouts, maintaining six sets of tees which make the course playable from just over 4,900 yards and as long as 6,900 yards.

An accomplished golfer, Rob has the odd distinction of having parred all of the club's holes using only his trusty but battered putter.
