Special Events at Persimmon Woods
Since opening in 1998, Persimmon Woods Golf Club has hosted numerous state, local and national championships, including the 2011 and 2009 U.S. Open Local Qualifying. In 2010, the club hosted the U.S. Women's Open Qualifying. In 2012, the USGA's Mid-Amateur Qualifying will be contested at Persimmon Woods. In 2013, the club will once again host the Metropolitan Amateur Championship, St. Louis' finest amateur tournament. The challenge, beauty and playability have made it one of the outstanding tournament venues in the region.
Persimmon Woods also makes the course available on certain Mondays of the year for civic, corporate and charitable organizations. The pristine setting and always immaculate playing surfaces are big winners for charities looking to treat their patrons to a great time on the links.

Gourmet Dining & Special Events
Persimmon Woods Members and their guests enjoy special monthly gourmet dinners - Wine Pairing Parties - that showcase the culinary skills of Chef Charles Friedhoff and his staff. One popular favorite is the decadently sweet Bread Pudding, drizzled with a bourbon butter sauce and topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings (left). The staff also prepares fabulous spreads for special calendar events, including Easter, Mother's Day and throughout the holiday season.
The GRILLE at Persimmon Woods is also available for non-member dining events.
